Albany's beaches provide plenty of surfing and bodyboarding options. Both beginners and more experienced surfers can find suitable breaks all along the coast. Middleton beach is close to town and is ideal for kids and beginners. When the swell is up and the wind is from the north, Nanarup and Muttonbird beaches offer a more consistent experience for those more comfortable in bigger surf.
